Scholarship & Free Pass Info

Need a scholarship or free pass to save $99?

As we have for every All Things Open since 2013, we’ll again make scholarships and free passes available to the in-person event, thanks to our wonderful sponsors.

In 2021 we’re making two types of scholarships available for those eligible…

Students from accredited 4-year and 2-year colleges and universities are eligible. In addition, students from code schools and public and private high schools are eligible also.

Scholarships are being distributed by many schools, or you contact us directly at [email protected]. More information can be found here.

Student Scholarships to ATO 2021 are proudly made available by the teams at Google Open Source and IEEE Standards Association.

We are currently distributing scholarships through a number of organizations in the Research Triangle and surrounding areas, including Women Who CodeChickTechWomen in Tech AlliesWomen in Machine Learning and Data Science, and Stars Computing Corps.

Contact or join one of the above groups or contact us directly ([email protected]) if you operate a like organization or would like to inquire about receiving a scholarship(s).

Underrepresented Scholarships to ATO 2021 are sponsored and made possible by Red Hat.

FREE Passes

We’ll make two (2) types of free passes available in 2021…

1 • User Groups

Do you organize a user group and have members that would appreciate attending the conference and saving $99? Are you a member of a use group and would like to attend and save money? If so contact us today at [email protected] for more information.

2 • Catch Us Next Time

Don’t qualify for a scholarship and you’re not affiliated with a user group? No worries. We firmly believe money should never be a reason you don’t attend All Things Open. Since 2013 we’ve made Catch Us Next Time passes available, no questions asked. And it’s amazing the number of people that do indeed “catch us next time”. Contact us today at [email protected]
