Oli Scherer

Oli studied Computer Science at KIT, somewhere near the Black Forest in Germany. During these studies, he started participating in various open source projects. Afterwards he started a PhD and joined the Rust project shortly after as part of the PhD work. After a bit of working on const evaluation, diagnostics and clippy, Oli was invited to join the compiler team. Earlier this year, Oli started working full time on Rust by joining Amazon’s Rust Platform team.
