Giovanni Vincenti

Giovanni Vincenti has been part of the University of Baltimore since August 2013 and has been teaching in higher education in multiple roles since 1999. He teaches courses such as computer programming and database systems, always looking to engage students in new ways. Three years ago he started integrating open source projects into the classroom, increasing the engagement of students and better preparing them for the workforce. He has published work in computing education as well as e-learning, shifting his focus from the original data mining and information fusion work that he did in graduate school. He is an avid supporter of Open Source solutions in his personal as well as professional life.
