Session: Shorten the time between ‘make it work’ and ‘make it fast’

Whether you’re building a new feature or a whole new product, the “Make it Work, Make it Right, Make it Fast” strategy of software development is a favorite among developers. Once you’ve proved the problem at hand can be solved by “making it work,” you can safely invest time and resources in the next two steps. Today we have Serverless to help expedite the development process by allowing developers to focus on their code instead of the underlying infrastructure. Serverless functions can be written quickly in widely known languages like JavaScript and Python and later subbed out for functions written in compiled language such as Rust and Go for improved speed and performance. By the same token Serverless database instances can start small and grow with you. This talk is for developers who’ve dabbled in Serverless technologies and are looking to shorten the time between making their solution work and making it fast.
