Session: Real Time Data with Node.js and Redis
In this age of instant news and information, our products must be able to keep up with the speed of life. Whether you’re building a chat app, stock ticker, or online MMORPG, processing input and broadcasting data in near-real-time is critical to success. In this talk, we will examine how using Node.js and Redis can give us a powerful and resilient tool capable of scaling to massive traffic volume. We will discuss event driven architecture and use a hands-on, group experiment to showcase some potentials of this tool.
