Istio is the industry’s favorite service mesh. From Feb 22-26 this year, the project celebrated its first conference, a community-led event that brought together actors from across the ecosystem to present stories of Istio in production, both in Chinese and English. In this talk, we will share design principles and strategies we created to work with partners across 5 companies to build a one-week event in 2 languages and drive outstanding results.
