Session: A ‘Git for Data’ Approach to Building a Data Mesh
This talk will introduce the range of open source tools describing themselves as ‘Git for Data‘ – it will give some insight into why this is such a popular category and suggest a mechanism for considering what is *really* a ‘Git for Data’. Finally it will look at the emergence of the Data Mesh paradigm, consider its core data management principles, and ask if a ‘Git for Data’ approach is best if you want to build an enterprise Data Mesh.
